One of North America's most recognizable business leaders, Robert Herjavec has built and sold businesses on his way to amassing a personal fortune of over $200 million dollars. A first generation immigrant, he arrived in North America at age 8 with his parents from Communist Yugoslavia with one suitcase, $20 in cash, and no understanding of English. Building on little more than his unlimited dreams, Herjavec personified the classic rags to riches immigrant story.
From delivering newspapers, waiting on tables and launching a computer company out of his basement, Herjavec applied his energy and ambition with outstanding success. A serial entrepreneur, he built numerous companies, selling his computer security company to AT&T, and peddling a Silicon Valley-based technology company he'd revived to Nokia for $225 million. Widely known as an entrepreneurial and motivational expert, his business advice has appeared in numerous national newspapers and magazines.

In 2003 Herjavec launched The Herjavec Group, acknowledged as one of North America's cyber security providers. Within a few short years he built the firm from a staff of three and $400,000 in annual sales to almost 200 employees and more than $125 milllion. His best-selling memoir, aptly titled Driven (published by HarperCollins), enabled him to add best-selling author to his resume.
Herjavec's record of achievements stretches well beyond the business world. An avid runner, he has completed the New York City Marathon and, with a single-digit handicap, participates in various charity golf tournaments. Among his first loves has been motor racing, and he was named 2011 Rookie of the Year following the completion of his first season competing in the Ferrari Challenge Series across North America.
