Lori Greiner made a deal with Barbara Lampugnale, the creator of Nail Pak, and began marketing the fingernail polish, file and remover on QVC the morning after Shark Tank Episode 314. Initially, Barbara asked for $50,000.00 and offered 20% of her business, but after negotiations, she accepted $50,000.00 for 40% of her business.
The idea for Nail Pak happened on a Sunday night when Barbara Lampugnale and her six daughters were doing their nails. She needed a solution to minimize all the stuff she carried in her purse such as fingernail polish, a nail file and nail polish remover. Imagine the excitement that overcame her as the Nail Pak concept evolved.
She and her family risked everything having gone through foreclosure after investing $300,000.00 to get the new business off the ground. As a Serial Entrepreneur, Barbara Lampugnale made the tough decision many of us are faced with making.
Lori Greiner branded her name on the Nail Pak product on QVC, but Barbara is still marketing and selling her product online. She’s actively promoting the products and staying in touch with Shark Tank fans and friends.
