“Freaking the World – starting with the USA.”
- Freaker U.S.A. Mission
Entrepreneur, Zach Crain is “putting an end to moist handshakes forever” with Freaker Bottle Covers. His hand knit beverage holder fits everything from a can to a 2 liter bottle of soda pop. Keeping your hands dry and beverage cold, makes everybody happy.
Zach and Freaker made a Shark Tank debut in October of 2012(2012.10.19) in Episode 406.
If you missed this episode, tune in during prime time on Thursday(2013.03.07) to watch Zach pitch Freaker Bottle Covers to the Sharks in what is one of the most original and unusual funding pitches ever.
The Pitch: Freaker Bottle Covers
Enter entrepreneur, Zach Crain in Black Top Hat, Complete with Coat and Tails(shirtless), paired with red shorts and black basketball sneakers. He’s a walking, talking spectacle, with numerous sound affects. He commands, “will you give me a whoop?” from Robert Herjavec, who enthusiastically gives him what he asks for.
Zach Comfortably delivers his Shark Tank pitch asking for $200,000.00 and offering 10% equity in return. Crazy as he is, he appears extremely confident delivering his pitch. I don’t remember seeing a better executed pitch, yet the writing was on the wall when Zach failed to turn off the marketing antics and focus on the seriousness of the deal.

What the Sharks Said:
Robert Herjavec said “I’m Out”
Barbara Corcoran commented, “You’re a strange cat!” and later said “I’m out”.
Daymond John said ”I have to be passionate about everything i’m in and I’m not feeling this, I am Out”
Kevin O’Leary did offer $200,000, but for 50% after he valued the company at between $350,000 to $400,000. Zach declined the offer, to which Kevin said I’m out.
Mark Cuban could do without all the weird sounds that come from Zach, and for that reason, he is out.
